About the major

Advanced Computing Major

The Advanced Computing Major is designed to educate students with the specialized competencies required in industry and research. The program provides systematic training in the fundamental theories of computer science as well as in broad areas of software and systems. Students acquire balanced knowledge and skills in core computing fields, including programming, algorithms, software, systems, networks, and data, and develop practical problem-solving abilities based on this foundation.
