About Lab.

Computer vision is a field that has been widely studied with the advancement of artificial intelligence technologies, aiming to efficiently analyze and understand visual data. Our laboratory was established in 1998 as the Virtual Reality Laboratory and has conducted diverse research including video-based virtual environment construction, user interaction, augmented reality, data visualization, AR technologies for autonomous vehicles, and educational applications of the metaverse. Currently, the laboratory focuses on fundamental research in computer vision and deep learning, including video action recognition and anomaly detection, medical image segmentation and abnormality detection, and face de-identification. We have continuously carried out major national research projects and industry–academia collaborative projects, and we continue to pursue interdisciplinary research on vision intelligence-based data analysis and convergence technologies across various domains.
